Melanie had her last day at the Gezer site. I went with her and we dusted all the rocks. They were getting ready to take aerial photographs so the site had to be clean. I got up at 4:15 and went with her to the site. It was fun for me, but got really hot as they had taken all the shade tents down. It was really dirty work, dusting the dirt. It seemed a little strange but they were trying to get the rock as clean as possible for the photos. We headed back at 11:30 and hung out with a few of Melanie's friends. She's now doing homework and I'm updating the blog. Hope to put a few photos up of the last day.
We are readjusting our bags tonight and having a 4th of July party - complete with talent show. We head to Jerusalem tomorrow and Thursday, then to Tel Aviv to lay on the beach!
