Plitvice Area

On Day 2, we drove over to the Plitvice Lakes area. We went to the park to see what we should do, and after some time, Melanie and Jenny found a tourist desk that would help. They set up our second room and it was such a nice little place. The countryside is beautiful!

Melanie, Jenny and I went to get some food and did our quick post on the blog. We also bought wine and bread and cheese and hung out on the balcony that night, enjoyed the weather and some Croatian white wine. We have a bottle of red to try out as well.

Photos of the hotel area are on this post. Jenny is on a swing outside the room.

Oh, I bet Melanie almost had a heart attack on the bus while you were on your way to the airport! I can see the mayhem in my mind. It is always good to get the adrenaline pumping through the veins and then sit on the tarmac for 45 minutes.
On the older hot rods reverse is right next to 1st gear (Mom's old Fairlane was one) and I am totally with you Melissa, it's confusing when you think your in reverse but your going forward.
